Answering this in public in case it’s something that interests someone else as well~For the people who might want to RP the Punkstuck characters, is there anything you should tell us about the kids personalities and interests? It would help a lot.
Personalities and interests of the kids:
Dirk: Efficient and reliable, but tends to be secretive of his motives. On stage energetic, but off stage usually rather calm. Can talk himself out of almost anything, but will fight if he has to. Doesn’t make friends easily, but when he does, he makes them for life. Studies mechanical engineering, and tends to fill his and Jake’s apartment with machinery in various states of completion. Looks up to his guardian, but would never actually admit it. Has trouble sleeping and spends most nights designing killer robots or writing song lyrics. Was the one who started Lord English. Drinks too much coffee.
Jake: Optimistic and helpful, but gets into trouble a lot because doesn’t think things through. Doesn’t see very well without his glasses, but hasn’t bothered replacing the ones he broke. As a result ends up looking perpetually angry thanks to squinting all the time. Hold the belief that a real man never backs away from a fight. Is good with animals and due to his grandma’s influence, enjoys jazz, but isn’t particularly picky about the music he listens to. Studies archeology and works part-time in a local museum. Has a terrible sense of direction. No. 1 member of Lord English to be asked to sign boobs.
Jane: Kind and loyal, has a tendency to over-think everything and then panic when pressured into a decision. Seems serious, but can be silly in the right company. Has an ongoing prank competition going on with her Grandpa and keeps an exact record of the score. Is the youngest member of Lord English.
Would like to get a lip piercing, but her part time work at the bakery prevents that, especially since she’d like to work there full-time to afford moving out of home. Enjoys romantic comedies, but would prefer if you didn’t ask about her love life, thank you very much. Likes energetic and cheerful music, and her favourite dessert is Mont Blanc.
Roxy: Confident and cheerful, usually knows more than she lets on, but isn’t afraid to say it how it is if she thinks someone is acting like an idiot. Has a tendency to be a bit absentminded, which occassionally leads people to underestimate her intelligence. Studies programming with good grades, though tends to sleep through most of the lectures. Occassionally works as an alternative model and her small but enthusiastic fanbase was the reason Lord English’s first live performance had any audience at all. Has perfect pitch. Likes cats, all sorts of cats. Calls her parents Mom and Rose.
